The Nordic Archival Days 2022, event opener

The Nordic Archival Days (Nordiska arkivdagarna) are arranged every third year in cooperation between the national archives in the Nordic countries. The first conference was held in 1935. It is an important meeting place for the professionals of the Nordic archival sector. This year the event was held in Stockholm, Sweden and was attended by the queen and crown princess of Sweden.

In dialogue with the client I produced the intro film, bumpers and name and info signs for the stage and webstream. The aim was an epic feel with images from the various nature types in the represented countries, a sense of the events long history and the themes being discussed. The starting point was a single still photograph of Stockholm colored in pink evening light that had been chosen as the header for the events website.
