Årets Svensk 2019, graphics package for award ceremony

For the 2019 edition of the award event Årets svensk (Swede of the year) hosted by Fokus magazine, I created the graphical framing. The event was held at Fotografiska in the F1 event hall where moving images are projected from floor to ceiling on three walls spanning a total of 55 meters. The graphics package included an animated intro and reveals for the winner names in each of the nine categories (one category shown in the video above). The input material provided by the client was the event logo, blue background and font which I expanded to wide screen layouts including the moving curtain, swirling auroras, twinkling stars, logo animation and golden confetti. Another projection featuring all the winners was created for two walls in the smaller F2 event space for the post award mingle.

I assembled the graphics in the playout software Watchout (Dataton) which enabled the technicians on site to trigger the animations on cues from the people on stage.
